- A postpartum doula supports families in the days and weeks after birth—newborn care, feeding, recovery, and emotional adjustment.
- Many families book in the second trimester. The earlier you reach out, the more time we have to prepare together—though I do take later bookings when availability allows.
- Yes. I support families planning medicated or unmedicated births, home births, hospital births, and everything in between. Your plan, your choices—my job is to support you.
- Yes. I support births at home and at hospitals across Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, and the surrounding GTA area.
- I offer guidance and reassurance to your partner so they can be fully present. Many partners say doula support helped them feel confident and connected during labour.
- I’m on-call and will get to you as fast as possible. We’ll also prepare you prenatally for what to do if things move quickly.
- Shiatsu is a Japanese bodywork technique that uses gentle pressure to relieve tension, reduce pain, and support the nervous system. It can be deeply calming during labour.
- Reiki is an energy-based practice that promotes relaxation and calm. You don’t need any particular belief system—many clients simply find it settling during intense moments.
